Orange "Chocolate Bar" Strap for SEIKO Divers (19mm, 20mm, 22mm)
In 1969 Seiko introduced a strange new strap without a name or part number, but it is commonly referred to as the “Chocolate Bar” by collectors, due to the raised pattern on the surface.
The strap was introduced on the first Seiko 300m Professional diver (6159) and later on it complemented the now classic 6105-8110. It was also highlighted in the 1979 movie "Apocalypse Now," where it was worn on a 6105 by Captain Benjamin L. Willard, played by Martin Sheen. This is the reason behind the second nickname, sometimes referred to as the “Willard.”
Because of the cool, retro look I decided to make it in various sizes, to combine it with other great Seiko divers. It is available in 19mm/20mm/22mm and comes with a pair of "fat boy" spring bars.
What's included: One strap with buckle, one pair of 2.5mm "fat boy" spring bars. If this strap is going on a non-diver, please request the custom spring bars in the notes when you checkout.
19mm - 76mm/126mm
20mm - 77mm/127mm
22mm - 78mm/128mm
